What Our Members Say



The Alliance uses your feedback to help us grow and improve. In 2007, over 1,200 members responded to our annual survey. This survey is sent out to our members in an effort to continue our commitment to providing them with excellent legislative advocacy, member services and benefit programs.

Here are some highlights of the results:

The most important legislative issues that members want the Alliance to focus on are:
  • The ability for small businesses to use pre-tax dollars for health insurance premiums
  • Establishing tax credits for employer/employee health insurance premium payments
  • Simplification of the tax code
  • Providing tax alleviation measures for small businesses
  • Raising the limit on tax-deductible retirement fund contributions for individuals and small businesses
  • Working to continue SBA programs, grants and funding for small businesses
