Alliance for Affordable Services Awards $59,000 in
Scholarship Money to Students Nationwide
DALLAS—The Alliance for Affordable Services recently announced the recipients of their 2004 Scholarship Program. These outstanding students possess exemplary academic records and represent communities across the United States.
The Alliance Scholarship Program experienced phenomenal growth this year with a 51 percent increase in applications submitted. The Association responded by awarding almost 16 percent more scholarship funds than in 2003--a grand total of $59,000 to the nation’s future leaders.
“The Scholarship Program is one of the most important ways the Alliance empowers its members and their families to succeed,” Alliance President Bill Callaghan said. “These funds will help families battle the rising costs of higher education and allow hard-working students to achieve their dreams.”
