2007 Board of Directors Elected
Alliance Members elected the 2007 Alliance for Affordable Services Board of Directors on Friday, October 13 at the Alliance Annual Meeting of Members. The Association will continue to be led by Paul Pevsner, Danell Nixon and Howard Segal:
Paul H. Pevsner, M.D., President
Research Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology, New York University School of Medicine
Dr. Paul Pevsner joined the Alliance Board of Directors in 1991 and brings a rich background of medical knowledge to the organization. A prominent and important voice in American medicine, Dr. Pevsner is a leader in the fields of radiology, teleradiology and neuroradiology.
Dr. Pevsner’s medical experience also extends into education and research. He has served on the faculty at such esteemed institutes as John Hopkins Hospital, Medical College of Virginia, The University of Maryland School of Medicine, and The State University of New York. He is currently Research Associate Professor of Pharmacology at New York University School of Medicine and Visiting Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine. In addition, he has authored, or co-authored, over 40 publications and abstracts and has conducted ground-breaking research.
Danell Nixon, Director

Danell Nixon, a proven administrator and leader, served as secretary for the Alliance from 1993 to 1997 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 1999. Mrs. Nixon has relied upon her extensive background in association management and foundation development in her service to the Alliance.
Howard Segal, Secretary/Treasurer
Howard W. Segal, P.C., New York
An Alliance Board Member since 1997, Howard Segal specializes in all aspects of real estate transactions, estate planning and business organization formation and advice. During his distinguished legal career, Mr. Segal has also tried cases and argued appeals in New York and New Jersey courts.
As the special guest at the meeting, former Dallas Cowboy Drew Pearson presented his talk on “Striving for Small Business Success.” Afterward, he took photos with members during the reception.
